Apps closes automatically

I got a problem with my Apache, somehow the applications I am running close automatically after some random period of time. In other words, I cannot leave anything running in the background because they will close themselves.

Is this because I am running WkTASK? I cannot think of anything else...

Thanks for the help in advance!

Re: Apps closes automatically

I can confirm it is NOT WkTASK, unloaded it and the apps still close automatically...

What else can be?

Re: Apps closes automatically

I have done some googling and found this:

http://forum.brighthand.com/showthread.php?t=253871

It seems this is up to WM... but I hate it, I rather get a low mem error than to get my apps closed automatically.

yup very low program/storgage memory will cause the same effect.

Dont have to many programs running in background, make sure when you close programs "x" that they are closed, there are many freeware programs that will do just that..etc...

While you are at it...start deleting Texts/email/IE Cache/ anything you can think of to free up space.

Re: Apps closes automatically

Look at your Start/Setting/Memory/Main Tab when you are having these issues....if it is around maybe 10ish or lower free program memory left, your phone is going to act up run slow/programs closing..etc., check your "Running Programs" Tab to see if you have alot of programs still open after you have "X" them out.

When you do a soft reboot how much of "Free Program Memory" do you have left?

Re: Apps closes automatically

I know apps can be minimized and not closed, I use the process explorer to see what's actually running (I'm not that n00b, heh).

After a soft reset, I have 20MB of free program memory, this is without S2U and WkTASK which I removed from the StartUp to see if it makes any difference.

Any other ideas?

Re: Apps closes automatically

Did this just start happening out of the blue? Something is wrong and rather than trying to pinpoint, maybe a hard reset? Just a suggeston.
