Live Search: Using Joystick to Zoom in using AKU 3.5

Anyone notice an issue using the joystick to zoom in while on a map in Live Search? When I click mine, it looks like it is initiating some process but it never actually zooms in. I can use the menu to zoom in but this is the first app where I would actually use the joystick and it doesn't work. It seem to work for me in AKU 3.3 but so far no luck in AKU 3.5.

Post Edit - my bad - I hadn't tried the double tap.
