Nice to think about, but CDMA is often a different beast entirely from GSM devices, which enjoy a more standard setup between carriers. The keyboard thing is odd. I have no idea why that would make a difference in whether a device deserves a WM6 update or not--maybe it's that all of HTC's recent PPCs have keyboards--just a wild guess. |

I expect its gonna be about 2 months still. MS says they arent releasing the SDK for WM6 until May 1st. That will have an emulator with it, and I'm sure that the people in the know will copy thjose files out, and hopefully Helmi_C and others (like ImCoKeMaN when he gets back) will be nice enough to help us get them all in order to work on our poor lil 6700.
But, I could be wrong, it could come out tomorrow as a leak!

I was stoked about getting to 3.5 AKU - can't tell you how much I look forward to WM6! The e-mail search feature is key for me. I'm starting prep of my new Exchange 2007 server although I won't implement it until the end of March (waiting for patches and some software compatability).

so not really the right place to ask, might not be a right place anyway...but I am kind of new to the windows mobile arena, but somewhat tech savvy...what are the main big benefits from these upgraded ROMs that are out there (Saridnours AKU 3.5, Colonel's Custom 3.3 Rom, etc...)? Is this just a jacked up WM5 or are there real advances? thanks for the knowledge.
