For those of you using Voice command and feel the bt volume is too low sometimes, make the following reg entry changes for vc. i have been searching for how to change the volume and finally found it.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Soundcategories\Voi ceCommand1
"attenuationCategory" currently at 3, change to 1
"InitVol" currently at 5, change to 3

Thanks to BigJ for giving me the values i need to change
Done thank you.

Also, is there confirmation that the bluetooth / button 5 issues are solved? I think crawrj stated that they are working, but it looks like vboyz103 is having problems. Just looking for confirmation and not trying to bug!

and saridnour - I love the Buddy Christ!
I haven't tested Media Player yet but button 5 is fine.
Very cool! Thanks. I'm swapping my VC OEM with this one.

Forgive my stupidity but what should I test to see if Media Player is working with VC? I haven't used it in media player yet so I am not sure what isn't working?

I am guessing it should play the music over bluetooth? I can start the song but it doesn't play in bluetooth.

Excellent job on the VoiceCommand. Worked like a champ.

Biz Conn shows that it cannot run the 2 executables when it starts (mailwatcher.exe and pushclient.exe). It says it cannot find one of it components, or it may not be signed with a trusted cert.

Thanks!

It could be that those programs are hardcoded to look in the original install folder. I will mess with it later on when I get some time and see if I can figure an answer out.

crawrj: To test WMP, make sure it is enabled in the VC control pannel app. Then you should be ablt to start WMP by saying play and it will prompt you for what to play. You can also say pause, next track, etc.
just say "help media" in VC and it will run down the options for you.

I used the non smart-dialing Eten dialer, and it only has EtPhone.dll and some registry values without the one mention ("HKLM\Security\Phone\Features=0x00000018(24)") . So I don't know what else went wrong.
