1 - Now called PIM Backup, developed by a wonderful user at the xda forums and is not only free, but now can schedule backups

2 - That plugin is a mystery, dont remember where i got it, i got the cab file at home, ill dig it up for you later if you want, sucks you cant get it out of military time though

3 - livesearch ive posted 2 or 3x on the boards already, and i think its in the ppc software section.

Dude, all ya gotta do is use WindowsLive.PPC2005_ARM.CAB for hotmail. It works like push, and has instant messaging built in. Works for me. Good stuff. I would recommend it to be included in the ROM, but it might be a resource hog and not for everyone. It's just that even with any potential problems I still like it for my hotmail.

colonel has the most updated windows live app in his rom and I can tell you that email and live search are not resource hogs. email actually pushes even though when you set the option it sometimes reverts to manual (still push regardless). Dont use messenger cos i didnt feel sync my messenger contacts, although there is an option for it to check with outlook for duplicates. But I can definitely tell you that it is much better than the pmsn that was in the stock rom. def a must have in your rom jbabey.

The last call plugin is part of the O2 pack. Someone here tore out just that plugin (thank God, it was the only thing I was still using). regardless, I know it's here on the ftp. If you can't find it I have it, let me know...

The only place I found it on the ppcgeeks ftp was in BigJ's kitchen folder. Even then the last call plugin was several files, I guess in the format to be included in a rom. They aren't an installable rom.

I'm having a problem with my mms sending pix. I have downloaded the cab file for it. And it still doesnt work. When I press send on the pic I want to send and pic the new pix message option it does absolutly nothing. I have deleted it and restored it and still nothing can some one please help me. you can pm if you have answers or if you had the same problem...thanks

jbaby thanx for this rom its the best one out there.. i am having the screen scrambling issues since up to 9.5.... and i cant send or recieve pic/vid mail.... this is my only prob. w/rom... i mean i rather go back to reg txt msg if that means i can send pic/vid mail...

can you or someone else help me w/this thanx

-Resolved locking issues and application lockups by lowering the cache settings to free up more program memory and increase stability on older devices (a small % may need to fully disable FATFS cache)

-Added newest release of "PIM-Backup" now allowing scheduled backups
-Added Othello Game
-Added Space Invaders
-Added "Treo-like" Speed dial today plugin
-Added Weather application today screen plugin
-Added ext.rom unlock application (shortcut found under programs)
-Added PDF Viewer

-Removed Duckhunt (Pulled the game to lean more towards "retro" and to allow room for some other applications)
-Removed Batti (Found an alternative I like much more)

NOTES:: from this revision
This release is more or less a release for you guys, since we reached INCREDIBLE stability in the 9.5 release, I decided to gear this release more towards the feedback i was receiving with what to include in the next release as far as applications are concerned. There is the much anticipated weather application integration, the removal of "newer" games such as duckhunt and replaced by retro/classic type games. I fixed a few stupid mistakes from 9.5 like the camera shortcut and the BT-Audio routing being a hassle to use. I threw in the "neat" treolike speeddial today plugin that (believe it or not) has been around since the ppc6600 (wm3), and somehow lost to the pages of time until palm revived it. I dunno, i dont have much to say. This release was by far the most fun that Ive worked on, since I wasnt tackling retarded functionality issues, and the 2 solid weeks ive been running it, ive been extremely happy with its stability, even with all of the added today crap I put on the screen, it seems more "solid" than my previous iterations.

With this release completed, I will be taking a break for the next month or two, I really need to focus on my upcoming finals. Unless there is a showstopper, please dont expect a 9.7 for quite some time. I hope you guys enjoy this release as much as I do, and the larger majority of my co-workers! A few people have asked for my kitchen, PM me and we will discuss details.

I opted out of the full RADIO EXT.ROM CE ... if you want to flash all of those, just grab the other two flash files from the official release before flashing. It works fine, ive done it several times. Ill post the blank ext.rom flash file i have if you Sprint people still cant figure out how to unlock and remove the garbage in there. Enjoy!
