Turn VC 1.6 executable into a cab?

Hello,

I see a lot of posts about installing VC as a command. I have the executable. Sometimes I see the install cabs in an exe using winrar to extract but this time I don't. How do I get a cab file from my VC executable that normally installs from my PC?

Frankly I'd prefer all my installables be cabs I can keep on a sd card so that when I flash it, I don't have to "uninstall" what my PC thinks is installed on my phone and then "reinstall" the apps.

Thanks

You are better off just copying teh .exe in manually. If you put it in a cab you create an uninstall point. If you really want to create a .cab file. I would use something like WinCe Cab Manager, and create the install with a default directory of /windows.

Sorry about the first post, misread what you were looking for. If you install the .exe on your computer without the pocket PC hooked up. The cab file will be copied to c:\program files\microsoft voice command\windows mobile pocket pc\us 1.60 for m2m. In there you will see the .CAB file.
