Help needed after restoring an SPB Backup..

Hello All,

I have been chugging along now for eight or so months on a custom ROM I made with no issues when a couple of weeks ago my phone started complaining that it was out of memory constantly. I tried clearing temp files, IE cache, installed apps, etc. and ended up with the phone not working. Not sure how or what I deleted, but I do daily backups with SPB so I went back to a week old backup I had and restored it. I was happy to see everything appear to come back but I have found some issues.

Although the camera is configured to write to a memory card which has 2+ Gigs free, each time I try to take a photo it says there is insufficient space.

S2UL2 no longer sees SPB weather and displays its icon on the lock screen.

Both are strange issues which I would imagine are registry related, but I cannot find anything obvious wrong.

I have been thinking about going to a WM6.1 ROM and am wondering if this is the time to do it? I am really happy with the way my phone works right now. I have the A2DP working flawless. The only thing I would enjoy is a bit snappier performance, but I would think that 6 would slow it down.

Re: Help needed after restoring an SPB Backup..

SPB Backup will backup everything. If your phone is acting goofy you can hard reset your phone then restore from your backup. I have done this several times, and every time I do, I notice I have more memory.

Your other option is to use a Kitchen and reflash to 6.1. I am running LennySH's current version 19213. Everything works very well on the phone.
