beginner need help updating ut starcomm 6700 to wm 6

Hi

I am not sure that I am in the right place, but I believe the 6700 that is constantly referred to on these forums is the same as mine - the ut starcomm 6700. I want to get WM6 running on it but I am not sure where to begin. Can anyone refer me to instructions in plainspeak? maybe step by step instructions that assume that the reader has never done this before...you know the type who only know of a "kitchen" as a place where meals are prepared? ;P
