It's in the other thread, the one for the generic ROM.

As for Vista, other than the ROM cooking issue, I love it. So much better than XP in so many subtle ways.
So we just need to convice some brave Sprint user to do the same for us...

Thanks for your hard work...
Has anyone done ths yet, a cab file I mean? I've looked in the threads and haven't seen that anyone has created one for the C&S for Sprint. I've had to switch to the Colonels's until this gets resolved (great rom, like all done by the PPCGeeks, but it ain't clean and simple).

Jeff cannot cook anymore ROMs since he has downgraded from XP to Vista.

BadKarma has incorporated the BT fixes into Jeff's generic C&S ROM. it is in the thread on Jeff's C&S for any Apache (not Spint) found here:

http://ppcgeeks.com/clean-and-simple...start,180.html

I have not tried this yet as I was thinking of trying to incorporate the BT fixes into Jeff's kitchen for the C&S Sprint ROM, but the only kitchen available is for the generic. I have never cooked a ROM and have no idea how to turn the generic C&S into a Sprint C&S.

I also do not understand the advantage of including the Sprint CABs in the ROM as they do not take up that much space in the Ext'd ROM (and in any case could be moved to the storage card once installed and put back (space permitting) if a hard reset were to be needed).

So sometime soon when I have the time, I will try BadKarma's version of Jeff's ROM which has the BT fixes.

I can't find the exact link, but here are the names of the files on the FTP that will add the Sprint customizations to a kitchen. Only use one or the other, not both. Also, these files only add the esential CABs not ALL of the ExtRom CABs.

Sogarth-Sprint-APA_SPCS_20600_303_12700_WWE_Ship
SprintExtendedOEM

My currently running ROM is the new C&S (w/o BT fixes) and I added the Sogarth file above to my kitchen.

Can't download zip file

Excuse the n00bness, but when I click on the zip file on the first post of this thread, I get no such file or directory alert. Smack me in the skull with some help please. Smack me hard, this skull is thick! Thanks!

It just takes me to a blank page. Do I need to have my phone sync'd or have activesync installed on the computer. It's a bit strange.

I still think that this is the best 3.5 ROM.

I have no issues with it (other than the fact that WModem no longer works but that's not big deal with my Comcast connection at home) and its super fast.

I also love the fact it comes with the Intent manager and I think that the other Apache ROM developers should include it as well.

I keep looking for a new post on this thread, hoping that somone has created a cab file for the bluetooth fixes, and YAY, a new post today, but nothing about a cab file. The Colonel's is OK, but I always preferred the C&S for Sprint. Hope continues, however.
