Here's a new problem that I found that I haven't seen posted here before..

While using a GPS (tested w/ live search and with tomtom navigator), if I suspend the phone (or if it suspends automatically), the bluetooth turns off when unsuspended..

anyone else seeing this?

I have the bluetooth drops too... other than that. No issues at all. Love it!

I love this rom life is better on the circuits of my PPC 6700.
But_ I ham having an issue with MMS and thats it. I am getting a message stating unable to send message. Everything else is very smooth.
I verified the settings in the reg.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI
EnableServerEdit from 0 to 1
Rest set it & still nada

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Could anyone get MMS to work? I have tried everything I could think of, but message are not getting received by the recipient.

I also notice halfway in the arcsoft log the following after I try sending a message:

Quote:
The transId is:
############## (some number here)
Wrong!!!! no from address
May that be causing the issue?

I have the "PPCGeeksSprintMMS" cab, which was working fine with previous AKUs. If I install that, what would happen to the current MMS installation? Thanks

Everyone - my advice would be to stop asking for fixes about these bugs.... you will find little support on this thread... in case you didn't notice, I posted the most common bugs, asking for a way to fix them or an update to the simple AKU, and it turned into an argument. Jeff will not update the program or help you fix it.... you will have better luck with
A) posting your problem in a seperate thread
or
B) get Sar's 3.5+ AKU, he is constantly fixing these bugs and is on his SIXTH revision.... clean and simply has ZERO revisions despite many known bugs, and some with known fixes....

best bet would probably be to get Sar's AKU with many of these problems fixed, and remove whatever programs you don't want to get the 'clean and simple' version...... you can remove the programs that Sar built in using the same method to remove junk programs from sprint under the 'newbie' thread that has a sticky at the top of the board.

mms

While i know this is not a fix it's a useable workaround copy the cab over to the ppc install it to the device now when you go into pictures and videos highlight the pic you want to send tap and hold when the dropdown box appears select "via MMS" and take it from there it's not perfect but it works

There will be no updates to this ROM until the ROM Project releases. Period. If you'd care to roll your own, I used Shawn's PR2 kitchen available on the FTP site.

Hi, Jeff, welcome back. Be assured that most of the users of your ROM accept that it's unsupported, and still use it. I still do, and it's flawless; I have my little set of apps on my storage card that I install to extROM.
any chance you'll issue a clean and simple with the now released pr4?
