Holy b*tch-slap contest batman!

I am just ed by this thread.

Psychotic: Dude take a chill pill, you have your points to be sure, but you did end up hijacking this thread (intentional or not). It would seem to me that I would be frustrated sitting where you are as well, but it's not worth the dammage to the community that is happening.

Christopher Price: We all want people who know what they are talking about here, and you do have some industry insight that is invaluable. So I try to give you some space, but crap man, you come across as an arrogant know-it-all. If you could pass on your knowledge without being so demeaning that would be wonderful.

I would like to know if you actually read the thread at http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...ta-6700-a.html

The way I take it, it has been 'discovered' that the unit actually has a 'GPS' chip, not a 'A-GPS' chip as you are claiming (and that thread started out trying to harness). Perhaps you could use your resources to truly confirm or deny this.

Before you just repeat what you have already said - Please - read the thread at the link above - the last 2-3 pages should do it. I actually think you would find it an interesting read based on your industry knowledge.

Jeff Kirvin: Dude, nice analogy, and I know the amount of pressure to do 'this' in the next release, and 'that' too seems to come from all sides... It's just because people really like what you've done. Keep up the good work!

nuguy, thanx for saying more precisely what I was trying to relate, especially to Jeff. Jeff, I'm still running this ROM exclusively, still without any issues, hangups, or problems. I still have tons of storage space, and the device works flawlessly, like I would expect from a plain jane, simple ROM from the supplier.
Don't give up the ship, and speak to us once in a while. Thanks, dude.

before you flash that new rom

im shure we have all gotten excited and flashed to a new rom only to realize you have lost those all important text messages from friends and colleages or that call log or something like that well in addition to the before you flash instructions i think we all should get togeather and list the little things that have helped us get-er-done and do it with the least amount of stress here's my first one

http://www.dotfred.net/PIM/PPCPimBackupV1.0_wm2005.zip

great little prog that saved my arse with a couple of texts that could have cost me my job had i lost them. it also backs up call logs and e-mail and a whole lot more

voicemail notification?

Has anyone else lost the voicemail notification since installing this ROM? I can call my phone, leave a VM and I never get notified at all. Also, in my phone settings...there is no longer a voicemail setting...the age-old reset for stuck voicemail icons.

Any help? Or did I miss this already? Thanks.
