Re: anyone cook an apache rom to perform like the HTC touch?
Install the HTC Cube also, that should do it. The Touch has way more RAM than the Apache, so I am guessing it won't run as well. I personally don't use the cube, just TouchFlo. You can also cook in the dialer and keyboard from the touch, they work nice on the Apache.

Thanks for the tips. The cube doesn't seem to be an option. I guess I have to download the vogue kitchen? I'm actually downloading now. I'll give it a try. Thanks again.

Re: anyone cook an apache rom to perform like the HTC touch?
Thanks. Already did it. Updating the kitchen for all the available software didn't work. I installed the cube, but it was real buggy. I have to fool around with it more. I guess I have to program each button. Not sure. I'll give it an hour or two. If I can't figure it out, no big loss. Thanks for all the advise.
I was able to assign actions for the 3-app side, but nothing to the 6-app side. The save keeps failing. Last edited by tristang; 06-13-2008 at 05:33 PM. |

The cube is buggy on an Apache. I can't remember if it was here or xda that I read a thread on a resolution. Give it a search if you can't get it to cooperate.
I think this may be the thread. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...light=htc+cube Last edited by jabu; 06-13-2008 at 05:28 PM. Reason: added link |
