OK so I lied. If I copy the ringtones to the windows\rings directory does that use rom space or is it only the root windows? If rings does use rom than back to my original question how can I copy ringtones to windows\rings from an oem?

Only files off the root of \Windows are in the ROM... subdirectories of \Windows go against your storage memory.

So therefore you don't want to put your ringtones in \Windows\Rings (if you really wanted to that is what you use initflashfiles.txt for).

So just leave them in \Windows and use the registry entry colonel posted.

OK I am back again. Can someone tell me why and the hell I can't copy a link to the program folder. I have several OEM's and all are working but two. They were working and just stopped working. My initflashfiles.txt has this Directory("\Windows\Start Menu\Programs"):-File("BTAudio Today.lnk","\Windows\BTAudio Today.lnk"). The shortcut works fine and I can manually copy it over but it will not work on flash. I have tried copying working links and init files over and just renaming the info. I have tried creating them all over again. For some reason they just will not work. As always your help is greatly appreciated.
