Does the PPC 6700 Do WPA WiFi??

I have been trying to find something on this but the searches don't seem to turn up much. Can I use WPA security on the 6700 and how do I go about getting it set up??

Can I do it with the Colonel's 3.3 ROM? The 3.5?

Thanks

I found my own answer, Yes it Does.

Shared Key..

The network setup screens are VERY confusing on WM5 and I think they are buggy..

Try this.
1. Disconnect from usb and Soft Reset
2. Click on the Wirless Manager Tray icon (the black one with a green dot)
3. Turn on WiFi.
4. Your connection indicator should now bee the wifi tower. Tap the icon and click the settings link.
5. This should take you to the Connections tab in the system settings. Tap the Network Cards icon.
6. IF ALL IS WORKING (sometimes not) you should have TWO visible tabs. Wirless and Network Adapters.. for some reason the Wirless tab is hidden some times.
7. On the wiress tab hit Add new (unles you see the SSID of your network then tap it).
8. On the Network Key tab you will only have to selec 3 things.
Authentication : WPA-PSK
Data Encription: TKIP
Network key: [your key that you set on the router]
9. Tap the ok button in the top right.

It should now connect.. If it doesn't soft reset AGAIN.. the good thing is that once this is setup it should just autmaticly connect every time you enable WiFi in range of you network.

This worked for me.
