Using SPB TIme instead of SPB Mobile Shell Now screen

This may not be the right fourm but the talent here is amazing so I thought I would ask.

I tried Mobile Shell, and the only feature that I really liked was when turning on the screen a giant clock showed up. (the severe lack of customization made it fairly useless to me as I run a few 3rd party replacement to standard apps)

I have since uninstalled Mobile Shell, but have SPB Time, and set the screensaver on Time to go on after 1 minute (so that when I turn the screen on more times than not I see a giant clock)

However I feel a more elegant solution would to have the screensaver launch when the button is pressed (like with the Now screen) That way I don't have to deal with it popping up if I am reading a long e-mail or a pdf. Is there a simple reg key for this? i have looked but not found anything that seems to work.

I also tried SPB Mobile Shell, and came to the exact same conclusion. I very much like the "wake-up" screen, but that's the extent of my use during my short trial period.

I wonder if there is any other app out there that provides this functionality?
