3.5 + orb 2.0 + avi/divx = can't open url

Trying to figure out if this is a 3.5 problem or an orb 2.0 one.

Avi and divx used to stream just fine, will not at all using wmp, various tcpmp versions, or even the core player.

Anyone else having this type of problem?

its an orb problem. try reinstalling the software after uninstalling. something got corrupted along the way.

btw, I mean reinstalling orb not tcpmp etc.

tell me if it works, btw. I suspect that it happened suddenly and even if you change stream between wmv or pls it still won't load and you get an "error: can't play url" message. I think one of the orb updates accidentily corrupts its media streaming file.

hth,

then that means its an orb server side problem.

I thought it was 1 of 3 things originally,

1 corrupt hard drive where I had installed orb on my computer

2 corrupt upgrade installation after I upgraded orb

3 orb server side random problem. I do remember now that a week after I "solved" my problem by reinstalling and upgrading, I had the problem again. try restarting your computer, or go to settings in the web mode of orb and restart the media streaming player
