Sprint Extended ROM

I'm not quite clear whether Saridnour's ROM -- or any custom ROM -- includes the Sprint Extended ROM, or if it even needs it. I think extra/conflicting software is loading from the extended ROM I'd loaded before, some of which may be obsolete in 3.5 ROMs.

Until yesterday, I had been using WideAwake's 2.2 with his "PPC Geeks Custom Sprint Extended ROM". I finally upgraded to Saridnour's 3.5pr4 by putting my 6700 into bootloader mode, running the installer, then doing a hard reset. I'm using the installer packaged by Konceptz, not the .rar file noted by Saridnour in his first post in this thread:
http://www.ppcgeeks.com/saridnours-a...pr4-t2805.html

For reference, Konceptz's installers may be found here:
http://ppcgeeks.com/custom-rom-insta...you-t2847.html

The first thing that loads (after calibrating the touch screen) is the "PPC Geeks Custom Sprint Extended ROM." Since it has a number of programs (see below) that would conflict with the ones Saridnour lists (e.g. Extended ROM's MagicButton vs Saridnour's Wisbar), I am assuming I need to remove the extended ROM somehow.

1. Do I need to remove this extended ROM? If so, how?
2. Do I need a different extended ROM to work with Sprint? If so, where do I get it and how do I install it?

These are the contents of the "PPCGeeks.com Custom Sprint Extended ROM" as best as I could determine while they installed:
- PRL 20225
- PPST.exe
- RTPluginCDMA
- Cert_SPCS.CAB
- IOTA.sa.CAB

Thanks!

EDIT: please accept my apologies for accidentally creating a new thread for this, it's late at night and I had meant to post this message as a reply to this thread:
http://www.ppcgeeks.com/saridnours-a...pr4-t2805.html

Since I couldn't move the new thread, I edited it; hopefully it has some general appeal for other ROM users.
