HTC Home Issue

I just created my first Rom, but for some reason, I can't get the HTC home to appear on my screen. I have it checked in the today settings, but its just not showing up. Any ideas how to fix this, or do I need to re-cook my rom?

Make sure to install an icon pack with it.

Re: HTC Home Issue

I recooked Helmi 6.1 seven times and HTC Customizer would not show up. In fact the space for it did but was blank. Even wrote a thread about it on Friday. I gave up with it. I'm using a tricked out WM5 ROM which is a ton better than 6.1. Good luck.

Re: HTC Home Issue

You guys are more than likely having problems because there are remnets of the old kitchen on your HD. You need to uninstall the kitchen, manually delete all folders for it out of program files, and reinstall everything will then work great.

Re: HTC Home Issue

Speaking of which, I just cooked a new ROM and noticed that there are two different HTC Home plugins listed. I use the one that says to select icon set, and select color icons. It works for me every time.

Thumbs up Re: HTC Home Issue

I went ahead and just used the 6.0 clean rom i found on here and reflashed, so now everything's back to normal, without threaded SMSs and with a longer battery life, so its a good trade off i guess. I just hate having to put all my programs back on. But i appreciate all the help i received on this.
