There is a fix to the Live Search and IDTransfer issues in the "Problems with Live Search" thread. It just involves replacing some GAC.dll files.

Saridnour, I will check. I think I saw you mention this before. If you want, just post them somewhere and I will see if I have the right keys or not.

To fix live search, do we just copy the 7 files from the other thread to the OS folder F50E,etc. in the kitchen?

It Works!

- Smartdialer works
- I can add, edit, delete speed dial entries
- Keypad works while in call - can alternate between Keypad and Call Status

Great work - thanks again!

(And thanks to Verizonguy for his role - please come back and collaborate!)

ok... then my intent now is to build a new kitchen, that includes this fix, Plus will come pre-loaded with netcf-2 rather than cf1 and the patch for livesearch contacts working.

Other than these issues are there other base functionalities that need addressed to the kitchen?

i've been away this week and havent kept up..

I believe this fix justifies a patch.

As for the currious.. What was done was to bring the cprog.exe from the 3.3 kitchen and replace it into the 3.5. I dont know of any difference in the 3.5 dialler program other than the smart dialer fails, and well. Me thinks the "upgrade" in 3.5 was a functional "downgrade" and msft can keep it..

Snicker.

New kitchen out tonight.

mcq, no intent to do so. If you've been using a 3.5 genre rom, you had to know it was subject to lotsa changes when you started.

The kitchen will be updated, and you should be able to plug and play you're changes into the new base kitchen easy enough.
