Removing Magic Button from cooked ROM?

I cooked my own WM 6.1 ROM and included Magic Button in it. I want to remove it because it locks my PPC-6700 requiring me to soft reset or end task. Is there any way to remove Magic Button without reloading a new ROM?

It is part of the rom....so I you dont see it in the Settings/System/Remove Programs.....well it is time to cook another rom.

Bad news for me, but I suspected that. Thanks.

Does it lock up just by having it installed, or when you actually use it? If the latter, delete the shortcut in your \Windows\Startup folder so it doesn't automatically start. That way, you don't have to re-cook.

Just another alternative.

Yup you can go that route, if you dont want to free up the wasted space taken up by magic button on the rom.

Re: Removing Magic Button from cooked ROM?

Funny thing since Magic Button doesn't run on start up now. If I start it manually, everything works fine with it and it doesn't lock up my pda.
