Windows Live Messenger sound notification problem in AKU3.5

Hi, I am trying to figure out why the live messenger notification does not work. I tried all three types (Silent, Vibrate and use system setting) from the Option setting. I also have the IM event set correctly in the "sound and notification" control panel seeting. But for whatever reason, just no audible notification when I get a new instant messenge. By the way I used Windows Live OEM module posted in the OEM kitchen. Does anyone else has this problem? Thanks.

Figured out. The messenger has to be in the background for the notification to work.

Where did u get windows live messenger mobile that works? I signed up for the beta testing but they havnt replied yet...

It is on the ftp (under kitchen oems if you are building your own rom). I also think the cab is there. If not and you need it, PM me and I can give it to you.

wow thanks for pointing that out to me... the whole time i was following the instructions to create those files. alot easier now.
