Exclamation SDHC 8GB Card Problem

I bought an 8gb card and put it in my phone, nothing happens. Under memory you can't see it at all. My boss has the same kinda phone so I put it in his and it got recognized right away. Is there something that I disabled or should enable or anything that I might have done wrong? I'm pretty sure I had the SDHC compatibility when I made the rom. I'll be making another one when I get home as I'm at work right now, just in case. Any ideas? The card is formatted with fat32, on a pc.

Re: SDHC 8GB Card Problem

I bet you are missing SDHC drivers. I have an 8gb SDHC and no issues with that. Im using Helmi_c's 6.1.

Re: SDHC 8GB Card Problem

If you're using the PPCgeeks WM 6.1 kitchen, make sure to include the SD and SDHC support. I've read a lot of the threads that talk about needing to re-format the card in FAT32 or install extra CAB files, and I never had to do that; I just flashed the ROM, put the card in, and loaded it up. No camera problems, either.

Re: SDHC 8GB Card Problem

all you need are the sdhc driver support when your cooking the kitchen, or you can use the files dmfa posted. The phone does have issues with anything larger than 2GB so until u have less than 2gb free you'll get an out of memory error from the camera. I searched high and low for a solution but there is none for the apache. good luck!!

I have a kingston 4GB SDHC card with the SDHC drivers by luv and have never experienced a problem with the camera or the card itself.
