????Possible to Change Size of Extended Rom????

Does anyone know how to change the size of the extended rom? I did this on my 6600 i would put my self executing sprite backup file in the extended rom folder and that way when i did a hard reset it would automatically install my backup file and i would have to go in make all the system changes and such. PLEASE HELP!!!

You changed the size of your extrom partition on the 6600? What procedure did you use to do that? I owned the 6600 until the 6700 came out and never saw a published method for doing that.

Nor am I aware of any known method for doing it on the 6700. It is probably possible (I know it was done on the Himalaya device) but helmi_c indicated that there is a high probability of permanently bricking your device in the process.

Yea u can repartition ur extrom on the 6600 to get the extra 16MB but as stated above....helmi said that it would be difficult and u could brick ur device doing it and the 10 extra megs aren't worth it.
