Tethering your 6700 in Vista - Here is the INF driver

Here is the driver to use your 6700 as a USB modem in Vista. Create a DUN as usual (you cannot use the usb dialer that comes on many of the 6700 CDs)

Can you please be a little more specific on the instructions on how to use this driver? I tried right-clicking the .inf file and selecting Install, doesn't work. I then tried the Add Hardware Wizard specifying the location of the .inf file, no devices show up. I also tried the wizard to create a Dial-Up Networking connection in Vista, but it didn't give me a chance to specify this file anywhere. Please help.

Same here. What's the trouble everyone's been having with Vista tethering? I've been doin' it on the RC1 version of Vista since January. Never had an issue.

I was previously using Wmodem and a dial up connection. I am trying to use internet sharing but Vista will only recognize my 6700 as a modem now. what gives?
