PPC 6700 freezing up during modem sestion

I have a 6700 that has been flashed to WM 6.1. I tried using the Modem Link app. It will connect and work for about 10 minutes or so and then the phone locks up and I have to do a soft reset. Rinse and repeat. What could be the cause of this and what can I do to fix it?
