6700 locks up after running IE for 30 min

My phone always locks up and sometime I receive a critical memory warning when running IE for long periods. Is this normal should I use something else?

I am running WM 6.1, Ultimate Launcher, HTC Home, Weatherpanel, and XPShut.

Any recommendations will be gratefully appreciated.

yup remember you have limited storage memory...and every page you look....you are eatting up memory on your temp files.....you need to clean them out.

I feel stupid but where r the temp files, I found the temp internet files in windows dir but it was empty...also I noticed it happens a lot if I receive a text while surfing

no need to fell that way.. ...the same thing goes with your text/email....they also need to be deleted every once in awhile.

There are tons of (freeware) just google "wm5 freeware"..etc.

On IE in the go to menu/tool/options/memory and clean it out....on your text/email go to that program....and in your "menu"..I am running wm5 but you will a selection to "delete".

Remember all these things will eat up memory and will cause the phone to lock/freeze...so remember to do some maintance and it will run just fine.

Also keep in mind there are memory managers that will free RAM when it gets to a certain point. Also, MemMaid will clean lots of places for cache/cookies/temp files so look into it also.
