PPC 6700 as WiFi adapter?

Is there a way I can use my PPC-6700 as a WiFi adapter for my laptop?

That goes the other way though, right? I'm pretty sure that would turn my phone into a wireless router/access point/etc, using my phones internet connection.

My issue is my internal wireless adapter on my laptop is going out. The manufacturer is going to fix it, but it might take a couple weeks or whatever. Rather than spending the cash on a USB adapter, I was hoping I could connect my phone to my laptop thru USB, and then use my phone's WiFi adapter to access my home network...

Update to WM6.1 and plug it in to your computer. Every time I hook it to my XP box, it sees it as a wifi adapter and acts as such. I didn't install any additional software.

so u're using your mogul as your wifi adapter, pulling the signal from your home network's wireless router, and not from the phones evdo?? wonder how it's working, hmm.

ICSControl

Share connections any which way. I think it is even included in the PPCGeeks kitchen these days.
