Do you think the softkey problem in the phone apps has something to do with a reg setting?

Once the dialup contacts problem is sorted out, this is going to be the perfect rom.

I wonder if you could release a rom without zip, total commander, tcpmp, magic button, new menu for WM5, and voice speed dial and possibly release a kitchen so we can add to it as we like.

I know individual requests like this can be annoying/overwhelming, but I'm not asking for specific programs, just a bare minimilists version of the rom.

Thanks for all your help and work!

I think he already released the kitchen and uploaded it to the ftp site. It shouldn't be too hard to remove the things you don't want from the OEM folder, add what you want and compile a rom.

I loaded this up on my Sprint 6700 and it seems to be working nice but I cannot add any new speed dials.. I was able to delete the number 2 one but I could not add a new one. Anyone else with the same?

Verizonguy,

Good work - I did some additional customizations to your kitchen and built a ROM. Sprint ## codes work from dialpad, and Smartdialer works (dialer issues are, as already reported, inability to use left softkey to bring up keypad while in call, and can't add speed dials). Getting very close!

Thanks

Probably, but I have not been able to locate the right keys that affect this operation.

As far as I have found, it does not. It would have been nice if Verizonguy would have explained himself more so we knew where he got some files from.

Yeah I think this 2.2 version of Smartdialer dll is the culprit, he had downgraded from 2.5 in his last rom that it didn't work. Either way, I think the best bet is to get 2.5 working. But kind of like to know where these dlls came from too.

Since I can't use this rom in production because of this issue, I might as well give another 3.5 rom a try. Now I do plan on messing with this kitchen.
