problem with .net 2.0

this might want to go in the SMMS troubleshooting but its not really a problem with the program


so i upgraded to .net 2.0 , installed SMMS, worked fine.....

was trying out the yahoo2go program and it wanted to update my .net to a newer version, so i let it

go back into SMMS and it says my .net isn't current enough, wtf?


no uninstall of .net in remove programs

and it wont let me install the version i have saved(that worked with smms to begin with) cause it says i have a newer version


so i'm lost, i need to uninstall .net and reinstall it but stumped on how
