Well, I just instaled Saridnour's latest 3.5 and then installed IDTransfer and still get the same error. I am really not sure what Mikee4fun was talking about. As soon as you reboot there is a error message that you must "Quit" out of to continue. So, this appears to be an issue with .NET CF. However, if I remember correctly, the latest IDTransfer was designed to work with only CF1.0. So, I am beginning to think that this may be where the conflict is.

Colonel
I believe that CF 2 was in the other roms also, so that may not be the issue. Off the subject, I just noticed you live a few minutes away from me according to your location. Do you want to try to work together on this to see if we can get it fixed?

Has anyone made any headway on getting IDTransfer to function ... I used with Helmi_C's AKU3.3 and thought it was great but I really like saridnour's 3.5 PR2 and would like to get it working. Thanks for the help!

Still waiting for a response from Bad Sector. I have an idea on why it is not working, but I cannot be sure until he can answer some questions. It seems like it is trying to load the system state, probably to monitor for phone calls. For some reason, it is not able to load what it is looking for. I am trying to compare 3.3 and 3.5 to see if I can find the differences.
The .dll it is looking for is not actually from .Net CF2.0. It is in the OS of the rom. I have noticed that the file size is smaller in 3.5 as compared to 3.3. Still trying things out. |
