Verizon/Microsoft CD's

Hello all, I am getting *hopefully* an xv6700 but it does not come with any of the cd's that a new one would. I have a 700W so I know how to set up all the basic stuff, but was wondering if there is anything specific to the cd that comes with the phone that I will probably need?

Please and Thank you,

PH

Nope... not a thing. If you already have the 700w then you've probably already got activesync (newer version than what comes on the 6700 CD).

The user manual is on there but that's probably also available on Verizon's (or Utstarcom's) web site. Who reads manuals anyway? (actually I do, but still...)

The only other thing is the inf file for if you want to use your phone as a modem. But I'm sure that is available here somewhere. If not, check the sticky posts at pdaphonehome.com. I know someone posted it over there. If you don't intend to tether your 6700 you don't need it.

Enjoy!

I think that my CD is still sealed in a box under my desk. Never had a reason to open it.
