thanks a lot!
I don't have any of these problems with mine. What you have to do is install some sprint update from the ext. sprint rom. It is in another thread and I can't think which one at this time. Since I create my own custom ext. roms I kept most of the sprint cabs in there except the junkware. You might want to try that and simply slim the ext. rom down, pop in the custom cabs you want for apps you need, and then flash.

Let me know how it goes.

Ok well the rom works great except for one thing.... I CAN'T SEND TEXT MESSAGES!!! Whenever I try to send messages I get the error, "the phone is not ready, please wait 15 seconds and try again later". I have reset the phone like 4 times today (soft reset), I held down the end call button for ever, I have tried turning the phone off and then back on. What can we do, because I need to be able to send these messages.

Hmmm... I don't have that issue and no one else has complained of it either. Try hard resetting it and when it is ready let me know the status please.

Yes there's a reg edit around here somewhere for that. That comes on by default on all WM5 devices.

Try a search for SMSNoMsgSent or something like that.

Backspasm,

I have the same problem using 3.5 and the Sprint Ext ROM OEM. The only solution was to create a shortcut (.lnk file) with the EPST ## command embeded. Do a search for "## codes" and you'll find how to create the short cuts.

Hey everyone

Hey everyone, first time posting here, been pretty actively reading up on this 3.3 and 3.5 business. Tried 3.3 by Helmi on my xv6700, seemed to work okay for the most part.
Only part I kind of wanted back was the "Speed Dial" button on the main phone part. Most people say they still have it, maybe my phone is just weird.
So I installed this one, which I like a bit better anyways. But I still dont have that speed dial button...
Any Ideas?
Thanks, Mike

There is a hack somewhere out there for this. I forget where. Sorry.
