MMS doesn't work

not sure I don't have a xv I have the ppc. the only thing I would recommend not installing audible player. its the memory hog. saves about 4mb or so I think.

your probably having problems with you internet also. you need to install all cabs except the ones that are junkware. I think most if not all have the ppc so we really don't know which verizon has installed as junk. but pretend like your going to install them to see the names. otherwise just install everything and find out which ones you don't need like the audible player. good luck.

Tried the hack. Went to edit the server, and it is set exactly the way wideawake said... My wifi connection works just fine. I can use pie no problem.

I guess I will start installing more cabs...

on the vx6700 no hack needs to be done the xv comes with mms installed

Yes it comes with mms working, but not if you do the hard/soft reset. I still have not found a definitive answer, so I am running all the verizon customizations (hard reset) and it works...
When/if I figure it out I will revive this thread...

If you cant fix this and feel the need to hard reset again than here is another way to remove the factory programs that dose not require a hard reset. This works well with sprint but I would think it would be about the same with Verison. Hope this helps.

I had this exact problem since flashing to AKU 3.5 (helmi_Apache_kitchen_3.5_ImCoKeMaN_R3) and I was only able to fix it by switching it to Verizon Wireless in the Connect Via dropdown after enabling server edit via the registry hack mentioned above.
