Boot Screen Changing Question

I'm having problems changing my bootscreen with my kitchen. I don't understand these directions. I hope someone can please help?

Changing bootscreen

1. copy your nk.nba file into the directory 5. BootScreen, then rename to nk.fat.

2. Run patchlogo.exe, select nk.fat in the first dialog and your preferred .nb file in the second. Note: If you have a 320X240 image you would like to use, you can use the nb_image_converter_859_418.exe to create a custom .nb file

3. Rename the nk.fat back to nk.nba and convert back into a nk.nbf.

THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS WHERE IS THE .5 BOOTSCREEN DIRECTORY AND WHERE I GET THE TOOLS TO DO THIS. I HAVE THE APACHE SPLASH SOFTWARE, BUT THIS WILL NOT DO TO MY NK.NBA FILE WHAT I NEED.

no need in shouting...check my tutorial that was quoted out of the tools are attached to it. (How to build a custom rom)

I just wanted everyone to distinguish my words from the instructions.

also I cannot install ur tools because my hard drive that contains windows is not C:

well right click on the exe and extract. this should work fine

I cannot extract your tools part 1 exe because it doesn't give me the option to do so. How else can I do that or how else can I get the tools I need to change the bootscreen for the nba file?
