Replacement Nubs?

I've recently started using a 6700, and love it. This site has been a huge help. I've gotten the hang of the Kitchen (Love 6.1, but had to go down to 6 to use MissingSync), and overall am finding that you guys know everything.

I just have one question - is it possible to get replacements for the "nub" on the D-Pad? The 6700 I was gifted lacks the nub, it's just metal. It's not a must-have, but it's starting to bug me.

Anyone know where one can go?

Re: Replacement Nubs?

I don't know where you can get a replacement, sorry. But mine just fell out a couple days ago and I actually prefer it than when it had the nub. I think it makes it easier for my thumb to "grab" ahold of the tiny knob.

Sorry for the off topic comment, but we should have an "out of context" thread for laughs.

Re: Replacement Nubs?

I think the rubber thingy is purely cosmetic. I know that the joystick itself is not that robust and gets jammed. I wouldn't do any serious gaming with it.

Re: Replacement Nubs?

just drop in one of those tittle bling jewels, they work great.

Don't use any superglue, it goes into the little hole in the bottom of the joystick and glues the joystick solid.

Re: Replacement Nubs?

Find an old junk Apache and replace it. Not to hard. Just takes time. I can get my Apache all the way apart in 2 mins

Re: Replacement Nubs?

Those things are nowhere to be found. I searched and searched and finally filed an insurance claim and swapped out my phone. Was having some minor bluetooth issues and used that as the reason so I would not have to pay the deductible.
