PR4 has been released.

You can download from:
ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....KU3.5+_pr4.rar

Notes about release are in first post.

With this ROM my media files were skipping randomly when they were played from the Storage Card but the same files were fine over WiFi. Did a little poking around and this seemed to fix it:

HKLM\Drivers\SDCARD\ClientDrivers\Class\SDMemory_C lass
BlockTransferSize:16

My block transfer size was set at 256, I tried different values 64 and 32, but once I backed off to 16 and did a soft reset everything started to work. All my music plays without skipping and so far everything else seems to load as fast as it did before.

Edit: I was using Pr2 when I experienced these problems. Running the upgrade to pr4 now, maybe it's fixed under this release.

DopeWeasel: Yes that was that was corrected in pr4. It was an not in as a test in an earlier release an should not have been in pr2.

datacron: Great! Thats good to hear. How do you rate the speed compared to earlier roms?

new rom

Saridnour,

First just want to say thanks for all the work you and all the other ROM cookers do. I have been waiting to upgrade from 3.3 to 3.5 till some of the quirks were fixed and it looks like you have taken care of everything in your new r4 rom, when I goto the FTP though to download it I dont see it there. I see r1 and r2 but thats it. Is it in a different folder or removed?

xxfwmxx: Same folder, may just need to refresh your view? I just checked the link above and it started to download... btw I am on another computer than what I posted on so its not caching. Could also just be a network glitch.

I checked, it's there.

Installed the pr4, running really fast. I keep looking over my shoulder cause it feels like I'm cheating with this ROM

edit:
right after I say that i get a lock up, was installing calendar+... reset and continuing to explore.

Yep just needed a refresh and now its downloading away. Thanks again for this great ROM. I have read pretty much every post on here but I have one quick question. I dont use Voice command so I dont have a exe to copy over once I get the ROM installed can I just go in and uninstall VC? Also would it cause any issues if I remove XCPUscaler and Wisbar? I might purchase them at a later time but dont really have the extra cash right now. How long are the Trials for? At least it will give me an idea as to if I do want to buy it for good.
