Ok, is thier a VZW NoJunkExtRom out? if not how hard is it to make? i dont have a lot of time on my hand or i would try it.

some people install nothing at all from extended ROM on Verizon. All I hae installed right now is the MMS app.

so just hit the reset at the 3 sec point..and load my mms?

Yes. After you reset you'll have to go in to your registry editor and open the ext rom where you can manually choose which apps you want to install. To open ext rom, you'll have to make the following registry changes:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemStora geManagerAutoLoadTRUEFFS_DOC1]
"Bootphase"=dword:00000002

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemStora geManagerProfilesTRUEFFS_DOC1]
"MountHidden"=dword:00000000

I also just noticed that Colonel has a blank extended rom on the ftp:
