QPST

Anybody got any ideas why activesync will work but qpst doesn't recognize an active phone? One of the boxes that cam up said 2 ports were available, but no phones were active. Don't get anything. Clues for the clueless?

Did you put the 6700 in diag mode? That must be done first before connecting the USB cable, or else the phone will come up in activesync mode.

No, I didn't. Didn't know there was such a thing, and after searching the users manual, there's no "diag mode" or "diagnosis mode" mentioned in it.
So, how do I put it in diag mode? I have yet to replace my broken lcd, so that may be part of the reason I'm missing this stuff.
Thanks for the reply, it certainly sounds like a strong contender. Looks like I'm gonna have to get that lcd in there sooner than I thought.

Bring up the phone pad, type ##DIAG# (assuming you're using Sprint) Then click "Start" (the left softkey).
