Question??

i recently updated my apache to be running wm6.1. It seems to be running fine but now i have been experiencing it freezing. I try and do the soft reset and it boots back up fine but sometimes it just freezes again. Any ideas why it could be doing this??

i am using s2u2 and icontact do those have anything to do with it??

Re: Question??

I use both of those apps daily and have to issue but that is not to say they work on everyones PPC fine. But I would look toward other issues personally. Have to tried to uninstall those apps and see if you get the same issues w/o them?

Re: Question??

A good place to start is from SCRATCH. Get just the basic ROM go from there. If it still locks up with no mods or edits or apps, then you know you either have ROM or hardware issues. If you install nothing but the ROM and still get those issues then I would go back to WM5 for a test and see what you get. It you install WM5 and it clears then stay away from WM6. However is WM5 still does it then I would look for a new 6700. Make sense?

Re: Question??

sorry for the double post but i went ahead and put wm5 back on. as i speak its doing the customizations for verizon. i will attempt to put wm6 back on again soon. I would do it now but seeing that i have a slow connection it would take me forever to update the buildOS program

Re: Question??

it would normally help it run faster but you already have crippling issues now that you would want to resolve first. If you cooked your own WM6 or 6.1 then I would suspect you botched something up somewhere.
