Re: support code 86000107 ActiveSync 4.5 issues

Frenchie,
Did you ever figure this out? I have the same issue... tried recreating the PST files and I still end up with the error code after a couple of syncs.

Tentatively, yes, I think I have the problem solved. First, I loaded a different self-cooked ROM (WM6.1) that used less RAM. Syncing worked all right after that for a while on both my laptop and work PC, but then I started having problems again syncing with the laptop. I deleted the relationship with my laptop. Then I created a new blank .pst file in Outlook and made it my default and checked to see if syncing worked. Of course it did since there was nothing to sync, but I wanted to check anyway.

My PPC6700 at this point had everything I needed on it because I had previously had successful syncs: laptop to pda to work PC to pda. So all I had to do was let ActiveSync sync everything from PDA to my blank .pst on my laptop. I believe that I must have had something corrupt on my laptop .pst file so by starting with a clean .pst file on my laptop solved the problem.

After all this verbiage, this probably won't work for you, but I hope it does. It seems there are as many solutions to this as there are people complaining about it.

Yeah, but the process required me to delete my PST file and recreate a new one. Not too good when you have a lot of achieved dates you want to keep.

Browse to where outlook stores the PST files and delete them. Make sure outlook.exe is closed or else you'll get a locked file error. Open outlook and it will ask you to find the PST file. Just press OK and it will automagically create a new one. Restart your PC and re sync your handheld.
