Where do the ROM files come from
I had my Ext ROM unlocked some time back but never really played with it so I locked it back as I had no need for it. Recently, another member needed to know what files were in the ROM, so while I had my Ext ROM unlocked I copied them all out and too my card for safe keeping so i could install a few apps in the ROM. However, I noticed when I reboot the device that all those cab files would come back.
So my Q is where are they coming from?

Your ExtRom was probably unhidden but not unlocked. So you could copy the stuff, but it would come back after a reset.
