So removing the path and leaving it blank, seems to work. This was intermittant before as it would sometimes work after a soft-reset, but I have taken it through some paces and its still working 100%. I'll report back later today to see if that is still the case, if so you may want to revise the main title to get people to stop using the origianl path value.

Button 5 works....sort of
I'm running saridnour's 3.5+PR5 now. I put the .exe in the windows folder and a shortcut to the startup folder and I have assigned Voice command to button 5. I have also done the registry tweak here, but it made no difference.
The problem is, after turning off or after a soft reset, button 5 doesn't work when I press it. However, when I press and hold, record will launch (as assigned). From then on, regular press works works fine for MSVC until the next soft reset. Forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere. I couldn't find anything. Added 3/11: When I do get Voice command to work, it tends to hang and then quit due to Low Memory. I have PLENTY of memory available (20MB+). The only way to get it to run again is to press and hold button 5 to launch Record. VC then works until it quits from low memory, or I turn off the phone, or a soft reset. Help! Another update: I just noticed that this happens no matter which button VC is assigned to, so maybe this isn't the place for my problem. Still, any help would be appreciated. |

To use Voice Command 1.5 with a bt headset you need to use a registry editor to change the "path" value to "\program files\voice command\voicecmd.exe". Voice Command 1.6 is completely different.

Can you explain how I can make the reg hack. I have reg edit on my phone. I just dont know where to find the "path" you are speaking of. Thanks, PS - Is there a way to upgrade to VoiceCommand 1.6 or does it cost money? |

Sorry to bother you, but when I try to enter the new "path" value to
\program files\voice command\voicecmd.exe the editor I am using "RegEdit" will not let me type past \program files\voice command\v Am I doing something wrong? Again, sorry to be a pest! |
