I need to flash from sd card.

I was going to try using conductive adhesive called wireglue to put the usb connector back on the board. (It is not very difficult to take the 6700 apart)

Of course I really hope I can flash from SD

if you are going to send at back then I would not even worry about trying to reload the oem rom. in fact, my first 6700 I bought off ebay with a small defect (i knew it hand one) and I kept it for about a week and called vzw to file a claim to get a new 6700. the issue with the device was only that the spacebar of the keyboard didn't work. so they sent me a new one and a box to send the old one back. over time I got busy and forgot and ended up not sending the one old back. I never got charged for it. here recently, my uncle called in for a replacement on his 6700 and kinda fell in the same situation I did and also never got charged. so it may be something u wanna try. I use my first phone as a test phone and so I will load an oem rom on it and clone it for you if you want but I wouldn't go through all of that if it were me.
