dropping calls like a led zeppelin.

I just got my 6700 a couple weeks ago and finally got it activated a couple days ago (alltel). I immediately upgraded to 6.1 after that. This thing is dropping, or at least i think its dropping, every single call. I am not talking about one out of 3 or five calls but every single time i get on this thing it hangs up anywhere from 15 to 60 seconds into the call. I have 3 bars of signal and am roaming. I never had a problem with my old nokia in this area. Has anyone heard of this type of thing and can it be fixed?

Re: dropping calls like a led zeppelin.

Assuming the reception was fine before you flashed, that is most likely the problem. Every ROM you cook is not the same. Look at the upgrade subforum on 6.1. Some ppl are fine but some are buggy. I 'd either consider remaking/reflashing the 6.1 or consider the WM6 kitchen.

I no longer am up to date with the Apache's, but is it possible that your radio was corrupted during a flash? If you use another ROM and you still have issues, I'd suggest you reflash the Apache radio and maybe update your PRL
