Strange alignment issue.
I recently received a used XV6700 that I won in an auction on eBay. Upon playing around with it I noticed that there's a spot near the very top of the touch screen where the alignment is low (i.e. if you try to click on an icon in the middle of the task bar it actually hits whatever is below the task bar). I even went in to notepad to see exactly how messed up it is. I can draw a line from one corner of the screen to the other and when it starts getting close to the middle it sort of droops downward as if it were trying to avoid something in the top/center of the screen, and then it goes back to normal toward the other end. I tried cleaning the screen and the crevices, softresetting, hardresetting, and updating to the newest firmware offered by UTS all to no avail. I tried searching this forum along with others, but every other alignment issue I've read is not comparable to this. I'm fairly certain it's a hardware problem (digitizer?) so I contacted the seller and am prepared to send it back for a refund, but if anyone can think of an easy fix that I may have missed
(like maybe a program that automatically compensates for such a thing) I would love to try it.
