For those who's interested..Windows Live Mobile w/ Messenger

Just ripped the CAB from XDA and made it an OEM.

Credit goes to XDA site.

I flashed my phone with new custom rom I created and Live works and so messenger.

When you using windows live, does it make the dreaded pmsnserver file run in the background even when you are not connected to pocket messenger? Many have suspected that the file drains battery life and turns itself on whenever there is a text message received, even if you have pocket msn turned off. Remove the MSN 1 to 3 folders got rid of it.

Can you check your processes after receiving a text message to see if pmsnserver runs itself?

I have that software and upon install, it automatically adds your hotmail contacts to your contacts. It also drains the battery somewhat. You cant set up to sync when you want. Other than that, it is very futuristic and works like a charm. msn mesenger and hotmail comes to your phones immediately and everything.

does it support xbox live gamertags yet? i know microsoft is going to implement being able to communicate via pc and xbox360 over live/messenger, but i dont know if this is the .cab

this is for the ROM kitchen. not sure if there is a cab available.
