PLEASE HELP

I installed Office 2007 Enterprise. Now I get the "USB Device is not recognized" error. I don't have my original Office 2003 disc at the moment. (Gotta go find the Laptop box). I'm running Window's XP.

Has anyone else encountered this? My laptop will charge the phone but I get the Error msg.

No connection means I can't sync or update. I've sync'd my info with web2mail but I would like to utilize Outlook 2007. Please if anyone has any ideas shoot them my way. T.I.A.
