I've tried activesync 4.5 but no luck. Has anyone gotten Outlook 2007 to work? I really don't want to go back to 2003 but I think I have no choice.

I've got outlook 2007 eprise edition and am using MSAS 4.2 with no issues, I'm sure I could use 4.5 I believe I was using 4.5 with vista beta and office 2007 a while ago, but it might have been 4.2 as well. Let me know what your issues are I might be able to troubleshoot them
PH P.S. I am using XP right now with office 2007

I've seen the "unknown usb" error show up on occasion a soft reset of your apache should fix it, and for good measure, reboot the PC, also make sure the apache is on when you plug it in, suspsend seems to upset the process.

Also try using a different USB port. Sometimes mine gets stuck on the last device that was plugged in and only that device will work in that port.

TRIED
This is what I've done:
1. Uninstall/Reinstall Activesync 4.2 = usb device not recognized error - Uninstall then reboot laptop 2. Install Activesync 4.5 beta 2 = usb device not recognized error - Uninstall then reboot laptop 3. Open up device manager and Uninstall all USB ROOT PORTS -reboot laptop 4. Install Activesync 4.2... Followed prompts until up to Plug in Device... laptop gives me USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED error. 5. Hard Reset Phone = not recognized error 6. Put in Bootloader mode plugged into laptop Serial turns to USB - Tried to install 2.2 = Loader Error (ROM is not designed for Device) - Tried to install 3.3 = Loader Error (ROM is not designed for device) hmmm I dont know what to do. 7. Tried to install Colonel Beta 2 w/ Sprint no junk full installer = Loader error (Not designed for device) It was a good thing I synced with mail2web before hardresetting. I'm not sure where things went wrong. Possibly Bad cable? I have to go look for a new one. I've been using the original cable directly to phone and even tried it plugged to the dock. Either way I'm getting the USB NOT RECOGNIZED error. |

I was actually about to write back saying check if its a bad cable, if you've done all that check the cable, could and most likely is, the same thing happened with a new mp3 player i bought the mini usb cable did not work...man that pissed me off too. But yeah go exchange the cable out and let us know if that fixed the issues
