Verizon Extended ROM contents

Is the VZW MMS cab supposed to correct the MMS issue the phone has after installing the 3.5 ROM ? I tried it and still have the same issue with the MMS being inoperative

Interesting, after I installed Jeff's Clean and Simple, I didn't run ANY of the VZW Ext_ROM apps. Set up the data connection manually and no issues to date (3 weeks). Of course I don't care about MMS.

Battery life seems to have improved with this ROM.

Set HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\P3\Enable to 1


EDIT: figured it out...adds MMS Video to the list of capture mode in camera settings.

I have the MMS cab. where do I get the VZW provision cab and the MMS pop up support cab? After install of the ROM just install these cabs right after? No need to change the registry?

not sure what they do. Hoping for an answer. I tried to get the MMS to work without any cab installs. it connects and goes through the sending process but I get a message saying that it can't find the client and message can't be sent

not sure if it will work...i always make the 3 changes, reg edit, connnections, MMS Server and it works...i was trying to figure out what verizon cabs i should install and if it makes a difference. i have not been using any it seems to be running great.

OK what reg Edits do you make and what Registry edit program are you using.? I'm having a tough time finding a registry program that will work for me.

Try a google for PHMRegEdit. There you will find a download for the .msi windows installer and a .CAB as well
