Again, Colonel's rom is not KITCHEN based, so we do not think these are related issues, but thanks for the input. I guess we could try it if necessary.

IMCOKEMAN- I think you are on to something. I have also noticed in 3.3 that occassionally the IR beam stop responding from comm manager, just as bluetooth does. COMM MANAGER is the common link to all 3 issues. Could it be that there is something corrup in the COMM Manager on the Kitchen based roms???

Well these should be them. The Reg entries for VC 1.6 when adding it into your own rom. I have this working in mine and should have all that are required in the two files in the zip. Add your VC bits to the windows dir and add a shortcut to the startup folder in the windows dir and you should be good to go. I mapped VC to Button #5 push and hold as it defaults to a press with this button.

Let me know if there are any issues as I believe I have all the entries here, but am working from my master reg entires and could have not copied one of the tokens. I am just trying to keep it as clean as I can but will add them in if anyones having issues.

THE VC1.6 Bits are not in the attachment as these are not freeware! -Don't ask me for them!

saridnour, Do I have to do anything else besides copy the contents of the default.txt, and user.txt to the default.txt and user.txt from the rom dump? Of course I am converting the files to unicode, adding REGEDIT4 to the top line, adding the contents of the extracted MS VC 1.6 cab minus the setup.dll and xml to the dump, then recompiling. However after I flash the rom I do not see any Voice Command entries.

ppc6700freak: you are converting the txt back to hv correct? Are you using the kithen or the "other method"? I use the "other" but have only tinkered with the kitchen. There is not a large difference between them from what I have seen, but others have stated that some keys they have entered had been overwritten by othere things using it. If in the kitchen I would post on one of those threads and see if anyone has feedback.

I would also recomend not inuding this line from my entres:

it is already being incudef in the the baseine for most. At least watch to see if it is and remove it as you do not need it in the final reg twice.
